"The Shack"- my official review

Here are some keywords and phrases... take what you will from them:

Heresy
False Prophet
Minimalistic
Endorsed by Kathie Lee Gifford
Trivializes God
Lovely STORY
Not scriptural
Over-hyped
God is a woman

In short, it's very... nice. But what gets me is that people are saying that this book completely changed their life, and it's a WORK OF FICTION, not even Scriptural! (I have another book they should read that will REALLY change their life.) This is the biggest disappointment ever, although I shouldn't be surprised... the Truth would never be as hyped as this book is. (See also, 90 Minutes in Heaven.)

EDITED TO SAY:

I've thought of another thing that really bothers me. Aside from some doctrinal issues I don't agree with, the book does a pretty fair job of explaining the Trinity. However, by physically personifying all three entities, it completely negates the explanation!
