"The Hour I First Believed"

Here is proof that I am a nerd and have no life:

When I looked at the wall behind the register at Borders last week and saw a poster for Wally Lamb's new book, "The Hour I First Believed" I screamed. Literally screamed. You have to understand that he is my favorite author of all time. He has written only two books... two incredible books. And it has been over ten years since "I Know This Much is True", which I have read and reread until I can practically quote its nine hundred pages from memory. I had long since given up hope of him ever writing a new novel again. I am actually having dreams about buying this book. November 11, 2008... I will be waiting by the door at Borders when they open.
