Wonder why I haven't posted?

Last week- 69½ working hours, 1 full weekend of dibilitating cramps.
This week- 72 working hours

And I just found out today that in addition to learning the new computer system at Borders, I now have to learn an entire new Client Management system at the day job, too. Anybody got a Remington rifle I can borrow?!?

Goings-on since my last post:

* BIG [childish] fight with Roomiekins that was resolved quickly but left a bad aftertaste for a while.

* Got a new neighbor across the alley who seems really nice. She lives right next door to Crazy Lady; note to self: WARN HER!!!

* Have only gotten halfway through Book 3 of the Twilight series after 3 weeks. I do NOT understand what the fuss is about. I am bored to tears by it, but determined to finish it. I'm not sure I'll even read "Breaking Dawn."

* Borders has started a book drive through the month of August in association with Habitat for Humanity to donate books to children whose families can't afford to provide them. Come on by and give a child a gift that can make a huge difference in his or her life!

*Leanna turned 30 and survived it. And she did not get married. :)

*I am getting 3 new students in my Sunday school class, and only 1 is moving up... MAYBE 2. This should be interesting...

* My neice Hannah has started high school. Again, Remington, anyone? She already has a boyfriend, who is *gulp* a JUNIOR!

* The Olympics... I'm not going to have time to watch them much at all, and that makes me sad. I DID get to catch the men's swimming last night though... how spectacular was THAT???

* I found out that Nathan Sawyer went to Yankee Stadium and didn't bring me back an A-Rod bobble-head or ANYTHING. I am hurt and disgusted.

* Morgan Freeman, Bernie Mac, and Isaac Hayes... it's been a bad few weeks for the brothas, no?
