Back and Better Than Ever! (or, The Fickle Blogger Returns)

I'm back! No excuses for my lapse, just laziness.

I'm still working two jobs. I'm madly in love with one of my managers at the bookstore. Maybe one day I'll get up the nerve to tell him he's my boyfriend. (Everybody who knows me and the whole Curtis situation, I see you rolling your eyes and mouthing "Here we go again!")

I finally moved out of Millington and into a cute, quaint (read: cheap) apartment in Midtown, in the Cooper-Young district. I love it! I'm rooming with my best friend, which I was a little afraid of initially, but it's working out better than I ever thought it would. We have a crazy neighbor who is a recovering crack addict/ prostitute and wants to steal my dog. But I swear, it's a really nice neighborhood!

Kudos to:
*Comcast Digital Cable- a refreshing change of pace from Millington Cable, to be sure!
* Kroger.com- How great is it that you can pre-load your coupons ONTO your Kroger Plus Card online before you shop?!?
* Sex and the City- it was everything I wanted it to be and more! (Except that the gay friends should have been more involved in the plot.)
* The good people of Midas for fixing my car in a thorough and courteous manner. I totally trust the Midas touch now!

* Whitesnake's 'comeback album.' Come on, guys, face the facts... it's time to call it quits and manage a Wal-Mart or something.
* (while we're on the subject) Wal-Mart. Now that there is not one anywhere near me, I very rarely go, and the spell has definitely been broken. I HATE the place now.
* James Frey's book "Bright Shiny Morning." Interesting how his fake memoirs were way better than his actual fiction.
* Frontline- Why are there still little black things jumping around on my dog's tummy if this product is so %*@& good?
