So far in the early voting/ absentee ballots for the Memphis mayoral election, we have King Willie in the lead, with Carol Chumney closing in.
This is not good. If I am to be moving into the Memphis city limits within the next couple of months, I do not want a mayor who says that I am an embarrassment to the city because of the color of my skin. Depending on how this election plays out, I may be rethinking my relocation plans.
