"Well kids, this is how I proposed to your mother..."

The argument started over a marriage proposal and ended when a Florida woman threw several knives at her boyfriend, authorities said. Celeste Irene Lagrant, 39, was arrested Saturday on charges of domestic battery and aggravated domestic assault.

Lagrant and her boyfriend, Bruce Montle, were at home Saturday night when they started arguing about a marriage proposal. It's unclear whether one was actually made. During the dispute, Lagrant started throwing knives at Montle, who fled and called 911. The assailant, who refused to speak to the deputies when they arrived, was released on her own recognizance Sunday morning.
