Kudos to FX, for bringing us two hilariously tongue-in-cheek episodes of "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" last night. Two very enthusiastic thumbs up.
Today I spent two and a half incredibly dull hours in a "webinar"- something I had never heard of until my presence was demanded at one. Basically, I sat with my eyes glued to the computer monitor and my ears glued to the telephone, watching every virtual move that some database expert made to learn a new marketing technique that our computer system offers. Ten minutes into it, I was wishing I had freshened my coffee cup before we began. Fifteen minutes later, as I bounced in my chair, trying desperately not to wet myself, I was glad I hadn't. It was a LOOONG two hours. Of course, once it was over, I was way behind on my regular work. THEN there were all kinds of technical issues, and for some reason, I seemed to be the go-to girl. Very frustrating.
I'm going to take some Advil and go to bed to finish watching the Alfred Hitchcock marathon on AMC. (Another kudos!)
