Of the shows I watched, both new ones and returning favorites, here are my thoughts:
Kudos to How I Met Your Mother.
What can I say? Ted, Barney, and the rest of the gang are back with their usual hilarity. You can't improve on perfection, but they haven't subtracted from it either. Still remains one of my favorites.
Frowney face to The Big Bang Theory.
It just ain't gonna make it. What we love about sitcoms is that they take a believable SITuation and make it COMic. There was no realism to this show at all- nobody is that nerdy. NOBODY. No, not even David from Roseanne.
Kudos to Two and a Half Men.
Who would have ever guessed that Charlie Sheen and that Duckie kid from "Pretty in Pink" would one day team up to be such a great comedic pair? Charlie cracks me up, even with his "swamp ass."
{At this point in the evening, I tore my eyes away from the TV to play with my poor, neglected pooch for a while. He hates TV premiere and finale weeks. I returned at 9:00 to turn the channel to NBC to watch...}
Kudos (I think) to Journeyman.
The concept of the show is great. I mean, who doesn't fantasize about going back in time to "fix" things? The only problem I had was that I could not hear the dialogue to save my life. The music was really loud, and drowned out the dialogue, so at times it was hard to understand what was going on. That may have just been my TV, who knows, but I didn't have that problem with the other shows. Maybe it was NBC?
EVER HAVE ONE OF THOSE DAYS/WEEKS/YEARS?
